Summary

Go Local was created to fill a simple need: a way to connect locals to local businesses near them. Launching as an app part way through 2020, Go Local has seen immediate traction onboarding local business operators, and connecting them with users who are browsing for deals and offers in their area.

To help them evolve their business, our team at Whitelaw Mitchell worked on ways in which the business could grow, key tactics for brand awareness channels, and strategic recommendations regarding key messaging tailored to Go Local’s primary customer profiles.

My role in the project was to apply the brand refresh to the app’s website informing users on:

  • How the app works

  • Why Go Local is different to other directories

  • What other customers are saying about the app

  • and a clear point of contact for interested parties to list their business or download the app.

I also supplied creative for social media tiles, profile banners and display pics.
